Wireworks audio and video cabling systems RoHS compliance
Wireworks Corporation, the leading innovator of audio/video cabling systems, announces that its entire line of products is manufactured in compliance with the European Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Directive and the California Electronic Waste Recycling Act.
The RoHS Directive was originally established to address concerns regarding the accumulation of hazardous wastes resulting from consumer products. To meet the stringent requirements of the directive, Wireworks’ products are manufactured free of lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalant Chromium (CrVI), polybrominated Biphenyls (PBB’s) and polybrominated Diphenyl Ethers (PBDE’s).
“Wireworks has modified and redesigned its product lines to meet or exceed the RoHS compliance requirements, while continuing to provide the highest quality products professionals have come to expect,” states Gerald Krulewicz, president of Wireworks. “We are diligent in our commitment to the environment and are proud to do our part in making a difference.”
