AKG C900 Condenser Vocal Microphone
AKG Emotion Series dynamic microphones are extremely popular among musicians. A new condenser microphone in black and gold finish has now been added to the line. The C 900 is a high-quality condenser microphone for vocalists and provides many unique features at an excellent price/performance ratio. C900 Condenser Vocal Microphone Features• The transducer case is 24-carat gold-plated for optimum protection from corrosion and humidity. The entire transducer element is shock mounted in a special elastic ring.• Extremely insensitive to handling noise. • A resonance weight tunes the transducer resonance frequency to a value where handling noise is almost totally eliminated. • The supplied Presence Boost Adapter can be installed to boost the 5 to 9 kHz range by 2 to 4 dB for even more brilliant high-frequency sound and better intelligibility. This improvement adds to the microphone's versatility in vocal performance use as well as overhead, cymbal, or hi-hat miking. • A patented manufacturing technology (US Pat. No. 4,790,021) ensures an optimally even electrode surface.
