When extended frequency response and enhanced transients are desired, the CM17 electret condenser microphone fulfills the requirements. The CM17 delivers smooth, transparent reproduction, and with its high gain and low noise electronics, it's a great choice for instrument and overhead applications, both recording and live sound. The CM17 can accommodate both phantom or battery power. If phantom power is not available, a 1.5V battery will provide over 1,000 hours of service.
