Hi, I've just purchased a Yamaha PSR-K1 and have problem transfering files from my PC to the keyboard. It keeps on saying Its in the wrong mode or ask me to set the TO HOST settings in my keyboard. I need help ! | Gw

You may have got this sorted, however. . . make sure you have pressed the "PC" button on key board. A screen comes up saying PC mode off. Press the plus button. screen says PC mode on. Press exit.
Also make sure your usb cable is connected properly and tat you click set up, midi port set up and set both midi in and midi out ports for yamaha usb in and out.
This should work. I have myown problems in getting the a transferred file to be found and loaded for playing in normal format. any ideas. I do what the book says (not easy to follow) and teh key board cant find the file (even though it appears as it should at song number 106). Help | |
