These two software giants - NI and Spectrasonics - as well as other software companies such as Virsyn - are owners of some samples I have used here and there in my music,
Originally not intended for publishing.
My question is:
When do I need to worry about infringement? When sending Demos, or only before actually shipping the music for money?
And can I "buy" the rights for only several samples, rather than buy the whole software pack, if indeed my music is about to hit the stores?
