NTSC or PAL vhs blank tapes? recording~recording vcr

Danello »my Profile »my Messages »my Reviews	Post Reply Recommend Report Hi, I´m living in Europe and I´m planning to send a demoreel to the US and, since the standard there for video is NTSC, I need to record my tapes on that system. well this is my question: Are there NTSC or PAL blank tapes, or all tapes are the same system until I write them with an NTSC or PAL VCR?
Markeditor »my Profile »my Messages »my Reviews	Post Reply Recommend Report You must use a recorder capable of converting from Pal to NTSC, and recording NTSC. As far as blank tape, tape is tape until the signal is recorded on it. You may use a European blank tape to record NTSC, etc. Keep in mind that the European blanks will run a little shorter on time when recording NTSC, as NTSC runs at 60 hz, not 50hz. It may well be cheaper to take this to a post house that specializes in standards conversions
