Fruityloops 3.4 Released

Started out as a Drum Loop Creator, it quickly moved on to a complete virtual studio. FruityLoops became a full-featured sequencer for creating wav, mp3 or midi/drum loops with internal mixing and advanced MIDI support.

Fruityloops can play any sample file (wav), generator (Fruityloops soft- synth), Buzz generator/effect or VST/DXi instrument you feed it.
We also can assure you that the stunning, photo realistic interface will push your creative forces to new heights.

NEW FEATURES IN VERSION 3.4

1. Sound Font Support (add-on)

The Fruity Soundfont Player is a FruityLoops add-on that gives you the power to load, play and render soundfonts (.sf2 files) in Fruityloops.
The player is based on the second generation of the LiveSynth soundfont engine developed by LiveUpdate.

This engine is by far the most accurate soundfont player currently available AND it integrates perfectly in Fruityloops. This means it supports 'slides' and 'sends' to your own send tracks and loaded soundfonts are shared between instances of the player.

The Fruity Sound Font Player add-on costs $35 and is available at our online shop in the category Generators.

2. Fruity DX-10 FM Synth

The Fruity DX-10 FM synth is a FruityLoops add-on that recreates the classic FM sound with a much simpler and more intuitive interface than any DX synth, or any of their software imitations.

By using a harmonically rich modulating oscillator only one carrier and modulator produce a wide range of FM sounds typical of the later series of Yamaha DX synths such the DX-11 and TX-81Z.

The player is based mda-DX-10 soundfont engine developed by Maxim|Digital Audio.

As a special action, we decided to temporarily give away this Fruity DX-10 FM Synth to everyone buying a product from us (a free $19 value).

3. Layer Channeling

Fruityloops v3.4 now support channel layering.

This allows you to trigger multiple layers from one parent layer. This feature allows you to make your own virtual instrument, by mapping different generators on multiple channels and trigger them in one parent layer using the piano-roll.

4. Channel Filtering

Channel filtering allows you to easily organize and your different channels.
By grouping, read filtering, different channels together, eg. drum-oriented channels,synth layers, ... you can make your Fruityloops project more manageable.

5. Project Bones Export

This features exports all channel and effect presets & piano-roll scores, making it easy to merge your projects together.

6. Multiple smaller enhancements

Fruityloops 3.4 has also a lot of smaller enhancements. Among the most important ones are:

* Added fat mode to channels (echo delay tab).
* New input to output mapping formula in remote control linking.
* Added Fruity formula (internal) controller plugin.
* Added activity meter to channels.
* New Fruity chorus plugin
* Tempo fine tuning

As usual, this major update is freely available for all existing customers of the FruityLoops on-line version. People owning the Fruityloops BOX version (distributed by Cakewalk) can order the Life Time Free Updates at $29 to access this and all future updates.

Fruityloops Sound Font Player is available for $35 as an add-on plugin.
