example 4: Singing Harmonies Perfect 4th Harmony Intervals

Although many musicians think the minor and major 3rd harmonies are the only harmonies used, this is certainly not the case.

The Perfect 4th and Perfect 5th harmony interval used in many situations as well. The 3rd harmonies really sound like a standard second voice. But in many situations the 4th 5th and even 6th 7th 2nd or 9th intervals can create great harmonies. It’s all about variations.
