The Turn Around E Blues Chord: Jimi Hendrix
A Blues in A would use an E chord or E 7 chord at the end of the 12 bar blues. What if you can use an even stronger chord? There are different strong chords you can end your blues progression on but the chord we’re talking about is not known by many beginning and intermediate blues guitar players. It is however not that difficult to play at all, and it sounds extremely powerful.
Jimi Hendrix used this chord, but so did many other great blues players. Because Jimi used the chord it is sometimes even referred to as the Jimi Hendrix Chord.
