TerraTec enters the digital video market with the Cameo 400 DV
Sinking costs and the accompanying increase in popularity of digital camcorders as well as ever more powerful computers make it possible: Professional video editing on the personal computer is no longer just an ambitious dream. This video editing system provides excellent editing and presentation capabilities. From normal video to a professional film in no time at all. The german multimedia company TerraTec Electronic presents the digital video market with its first digital video processing solution. With the VideoSystem Cameo 400 DV you can create "oscar ripe" film. The DV port on the digital camcorder is connected via FireWire™ with the PC. From there it goes directly to the hard drive without any loss in quality. With the MediaStudio Pro 6.0 VE from Ulead direct editing on the PC is possible. Die TerraTec Cameo 400 DV appears in December in stores.
Speaking of Firewire™! Through compatibility with the OHCI standard the Cameo 400 DV Firewire card can of course be used for other IEEE 1394 devices and components like those already on the market including scanners and hard drives for example. The data transfer rate is around 33 times higher than the USB standard.

To begin with: MediaStudio Pro 6.0 VE. It offers the user the newest video technology, incredible performance and a wide palette of creative tools. Designed for non-linear high quality video production, the MediaStudio Pro 6.0 VE is the key to further develope digital video in DV format.
With MediaStudio Pro's integrated Video Editor individual scenes can be comfortably cut and connected using transitional effects. Using the timeline varying media material such as video, sound, animation or titel can be implemented. The award winning user interface provides a comfortable working environment. Even the transfer of your finished masterpiece is no problem. The film can easily be sent back to the camcorder.
Also on board the Cameo 400 DV: Adorage Magic in the Cameo edition. This special packet offers more than 300 extra professional video effects. Scene changes using animation and special effects like smoke or texture manipulation – no problem. Page turning and explosions are things of the past - today you can overlay your scenes with light and fog effects, 3D animation or theme motifs like balls, banners, or business logos for example. Even "video in video" effects are easily achieved.
