My MP3 complete package with Internet radio recording function: Steinberg´s My MP3 2.0
Hanover - Using skins, the 2.0 version of My MP3 - Steinberg´s all-in-one MP3-software - enables creative arrangement of program interfaces. With the improvement of numerous details, additional audio formats, FTP support and integration of external hardware players, it should fulfill every wish. It is now even possible to play Internet radio and record it simultaneously in MP3 format.
The new program offers integration of individual program interfaces - so-called skins, so users can choose an interface to suit their own personal taste. Two skins are included in the package, and others can be downloaded via www.steinberg-ct.de.
The FTP function allows a link-up via local networks or Internet integrated PC´s. Favorite music data can be transferred via an IP-address direct from the application from other PC´s to My MP3.
As well as MP3, Wave, audio or MP3 CD´s, music can be saved in new file formats such as RealAudio and Windows Audio Media, or additionally onto externally integrated MP3 hardware players.
Internet radio stations can be predialed from a wide range according to personal musical taste. New radio stations are automatically added online. As an additional highlight, Internet radio stations can be saved direct during play in real time as MP3!
My MP3 from Steinberg ´creative tools` is available from March in specialist stores for DM 69.00 (MRP, about $35 US).
Question on My MP3 2.0 by Keith Jerger
I am interested in learning more about your product, My MP3 2. 0. I would like to be able to record information from Internet Radio stations, but I'm not sure how I would be able to do that. Do I have to pick from a predetermined list of radio stations as to what I can record, or if I have a particular radio station in mind, can I specifically add it to My MP3 somehow and be able to record from the station of my choosing? If you could go into some additional details about recording from Internet Radio stations, I would appreciate it.
