Pro Tools Platform Continues Expansion with Digidesign Development PartnersLos Angeles, CA — Digidesign is pleased to announce a variety of new Development Partner product introductions and Pro Tools platform initiatives for IBC and AES 2000. The breadth and quality of the Plug-Ins, software and hardware that expand the value of the Pro Tools platform remains unrivaled, and has continued to grow over the past year. Digidesign’s technical and marketing support have expanded in their range and ease of use. Many leading companies in the audio marketplace have chosen Digidesign as their Distribution Partner. The products being introduced by Digidesign Development Partners continue to grow in number and variety, as developers focus on features and quality. "We’re truly excited about the level of development activity that continues for Pro Tools, Pro Tools LE and other Digidesign products. It’s the platform that makes these products the choice for thousands of people creating audio content, from the home studio to the world’s most sophisticated facilities," remarks Ed Gray, Director of Partnering Programs for Digidesign. Digidesign Development Partners will showcase new offerings at Digidesign’s IBC and AES stands. Additional new developments from BitHeadz, Bomb Factory, Emagic, FXpansion, Native Instruments, Prosoniq, Synchro Arts and a host of others will be announced or previewed at AES. A variety of services have been designed to speed Digidesign Developers to market. Development Partners now provide new and upgraded products that are feature-rich, stable and engineered to take advantage of Pro Tools features as they are implemented. This year’s AES convention is the venue of the first Digidesign Development Partners Conference, in which Development Partners will learn about Digidesign’s technical roadmap, and the company’s sales and marketing initiatives for the coming year. This conference will be a forum for exchange, feedback and ideas between the developer community and Digidesign. Digidesign will be expanding its tour program and delivering a dramatically enhanced internet site that will give Development Partners a greater opportunity to allow users to see, hear and try their products. Additionally, the Developer Engineering Services organization will expand its staff and add an enhanced internet service.
