TC delivers native surround reverb for Steinberg´s NUENDO

NAMM - ANAHEIM, CA - Steinberg Media Technologies AG, the leading provider of music and audio software and TC WORKS, TC Electronics´ software division, today announced the release of Surroundverb, a surround-reverb for Steinberg´s Nuendo media production system.

TC Surroundverb supplies Nuendo users with TC-quality 5.1 reverb, seamlessly integrated into Steinberg´s application. It features a fast and easy to use interface, with graphic displays visualizing the reverb components, with a powerful algorithm core delivering dense and convincing studio quality reverbs.

The PlugIn provides control over all the key components required for reverb design, from room shape and size to diffusion, and gives separate controls for early reflections and tail. The reverb tail supplies three independent bands for lo, mid and hi with sweepable band crossovers and an additional EQ stage with lo and hi shelf filters for ultimate sound flexibility.

The surround sound positioning of a track is already taken care of in Nuendo, so TC Surroundverb receives the panned signal, thus not requiring a panner of its own. This new style of surround metering allows the user to keep track of the audio´s position in the virtual room. Dry and wet signals are displayed in two different colors, providing optimal visual control over changes in positioning due to the addition of the reverb.
