SM Pro Audio DAC III High-end 24bit/96kHz 8 channel DAC unit
The ST AUDIO DAC III is an 8CH 120dB 24-bit/96kHz digital to analog converter designed for connection to the ST AUDIO DSP 24, DSP24 MK II PCI recording card, or for stand alone use.
The DAC III a full size 8 CH rack-mountable DAC. The DAC III converts digital outputs from the Audio DSP 24 ( or MK II) PCI card to 8 individual XLR balanced or 4 stereo line TRS connections.

As a stand-alone product, S/PDIF, Optical and AES/EUB (XLR Type) inputs from the front panel of the DAC III are available for professional DAC conversion. Each stereo pair can be assigned as either a stand alone DAC or as a DAC output port from your computer system when connected to the Audio DSP 24 PCI card ( or MK II).
The DAC III uses ultra high Crystal 24-bit/96kHz converters from market leader Cirrus Logic. When used with the Audio DSP 24 PCI card ( or MK II) the DAC III can be integrated into a powerful computer based recording system allowing for expansion via ADAT and T/DIF interface options and ADC Input racks (ie. ADC III).
