Crystal clear surround sound: Clean! 2.0 and Clean! Plus 2.0 available soonThe 2.0 versions of Clean! and Clean!Plus provide innovative surround-mixing with graphic loudspeaker reproduction, improved restoration effects including an additional High Quality mode for ´State of the Arts` restoration and sound optimization, as well as a completely overhauled WaveLabLite. To sum it up: crystal clear sound in reliable Steinberg quality. Recordable onto music or MP3 CD´s.The new surround module makes it possible: With a click of the mouse Clean! transforms ordinary stereo tracks into perfect stereophonic sound. The added bonus of being able to graphically reproduce the loudspeaker positioning ensures a balanced panorama based on where the user is sitting. The restoration effects of Clean! 2.0 and Clean! Plus 2.0 have also been adapted for the current PC generation. Apart from perfecting the output and performance of existing effects, the new High Quality mode offers ´State of the Arts` technology with regard to restoration and sound optimization. The audition mode provides an added professional feature, which aids regulation to get the right amount of ´effect`, so that during restoration it is really only the crackling, hissing and scratching which is eliminated and not part of the music itself. Also in the package is the incomparably fast mastering software WaveLabLite, which has been completely updated and now, in addition to professional editing and intuitive real time fading functions it provides in combination with Clean! up to 20 effects for restoration and sound refinement. Clean! provides unlimited Original Fraunhofer MP3-Import and 20 free demo-encodings that enable to transform from Wave-files to MP3-format in all quality steps. With Clean! 2.0 and Clean! Plus 2.0 sophisticated music can not only - as was the case until now - be recorded for posterity on an audio CD. Besides the possibility to burn regular audio files it is possible to bring music files in data files on CD. Clean! 2.0 is available from March in specialist stores for DM 79.00 (MRP) (about $35 US), Clean! Plus 2.0 for DM 179.00 (MRP)(about $80 US). An Update-Patch to full Fraunhofer MP3 support is available for DM 20.-- (about $10 US). clean! 2.0 by George Deeth I have installed Clean! 2. 0 and connected the pre-amp. I can only get a record signal from my turntable through the microphone input of my sound card, which is of an unacceptable quality. The turntable signal through the input line sends a good signal to my speakers but the software does not respond and comes up wth a message about the message not being longer than 7 seconds.
